About Kinney Capos

After surviving what should have been a fatal car accident and fire, Mike Kinney was reborn from the ashes to lead others to Christ, through connection and music. A consistent meaningful symbol through his life and experience, the phoenix represents Kinney’s journey and mission. Music is what gave him hope, while recovering from his brain injury, and it has become his instrument for providing hope for others. Inspired by a personal gift from music legend Pete Townshend, Kinney has developed a tool that can help those recovering from injury, as well as novice musicians, learn to play the guitar and combine the aid of multiple capos with one, universal capo – the Kinney Capo.
